Web hosting, while a critical part of the operation of the internet, is oftentimes made light of or left out. What web hosting is, is a service that allows both personal and businesses to create their own place on the internet, its called a webpage. Companies that provide web hosting services have machines on which the information that makes up the website is hosted. Webmasters, which are what website developers are known as, give a space of theirs to host storage and publication for the person wanting the web hosting. This allows surfers all over the world to visit that client or organization’s website.
While there are many web hosts providing services, there are only two primary types, free and paid web hosting. If you are an individual or a new organization with a strained budget, free web hosting is a great choice for their own part of the internet. Paid web hosting is more suitable for established organizations, and provides more space and features for the hosted website.
While looking online for the best paid web host, you will find you have so multiple choices. The price you will spend for web hosting greatly depends on the type of options provided. Shared web hosting, where your webpage is one of hundreds stationed on a particular machine and has a shared ip address, will be greatly cheaper than dedicated web hosting, where your site is the only site that populates the machine.
No matter which web host you select, your provider will provide your website with many extras. First, you receive your own presence on the internet. This furnishes you with storage space for all of the files and data that comprise your webpage, including but not limited to pictures, audio or video. An average amount of space that a web hosting service provider provides to a webmaster is about 1GB, but some more expensive website hosting packages can provide as much as one hundred times that amount, or even more.
Personalized email addresses are another cool option of most web hosting packages. Having an email address of service@yourcompany.com is much more professional looking to potential customers than if you had a Yahoo or hotmail account for your organization. A domain specific email address is an easy way to increase your trustworthiness with your clients, and make them feel that you are a strong, trustworthy company.
Another neat benefit that comes with your web hosting package is bandwidth (transfer). Bandwidth is a measure of the amount of traffic that happens between your website and the rest of the internet. If you have a substantial amount of bandwidth for your website, your page will be easier for visitor to view the page. If you don’t have adequate bandwidth, items such as pictures, audio and video will not be able to load onto the page quickly, and can be very frustrating for those attempting to use the webpage. It is a critical function of your web hosting provider to furnish you with enough transfer to meet your website needs. Most providers have different packages that allow you to choose how much bandwidth is right for you and your website.
As you have seen, there is a whole range of options that web hosts provide for this imperative piece of the webpage puzzle. No matter what you need, there is a plan for you.

If you are going to run your own webserver I would suggest using debain, gentoo, slackware, etc.. ubuntu is way to bloated to use as a webserver..
You will need to install Apache Web Server.. MySQL.. and PHP.. those are most likely what you will need to be using..
If you want email as well.. you will need to install sendmail and qpopper…
You will also probably want FTP access.. so you will want to install proftpd as well
If you want low cost I would suggest buying a webhost.. $3.45/mo. which gives you all your webhosting needs, email needs, and a domain name…
If you run your own server.. you will need a domain name $10/yr
You will need decent bandwidth $60/mo
and the server will be running 24/7.. which uses electricity .. most servers have around a 550watt power supply.. which 550 x 24 x 365.25 / 1000 / 12 x .1 = $40.18/mo in electricity costs..
so total cost to run your own server is.. ((60 + 40.18) x 12) + 10 / 12 = 101.01/mo.
if you already have decent enough bandwidth.. that's still ((40.18 x 12) + 10) / 12 = $41.01/mo.

Lol, well then according to OVH’s terms of service you should be paying more!
My discussions with them they said i would have to move up to a premium traffic plan if i use in excess of the 5TB range….
Also… if you look at my calculations above the connection will only allow a max of just over 1TB a day… :p
And OVH provide 100mbps per CLIENT not per server unless you pay more.

Hi–I'm another consultant and can help you out.
Basically, with the names that you get from however way that you get names–when you book classes–one of the options for classes is to book a "web show".
I find these work best when you've ALREADY Seen the hostess first! That way when you give her some samples for the "web party"–she can make sure her friends have them (samples) & the host can encourage her friends to buy products that she herself likes.
I personally don't like web parties for new customers–I like them for customers who have already been "seen" for a facial or at least a satin hands treatment, and then you can "build" upwards from that 1 purchase.
I haven't done a LOT of them but the ones that I did do were successful because they were not first time customers.

Wrong Unmetered But NOT unlimited
Example u have unmeter bdwidth on dedi server with 100Mbit port MAX transfer u get
100Mbit = 12.5MB
which is 1.029968TB day max a month thats a max of almost 31TB Which is a lot, but NOT unlimited.
Also bare in mind ALL datacentres have caps on unmetered servers so if you are using say
5TB transfer they will ship you to a high rate or ask to pay x / hundred GB
Note im a host i know what i do and so do the larger companies which i
work with

Its a SCAM..
Think about it.. If you won a Lottery… Anywhere in the WORLD….. Don't you think they would fly you out there so, they can have you on TV and whatever else…
Think about it.. Here in the US.. If anyone wins anything even near a million.. Its all over the newspapers and TV…
There probley going to try and steal your identity or after you fill out Payment Processing.. There going to say please send us (about) $5,000 for the taxes and processing fees…
So, I wouldn't do anything but, just ignore them.. Or write back and say.. Send me the money and I'll send you the info back once I received it..
They will never answer you back.. and I would try and call you Internet provider and tell them about it…
Good luck with everything and let us know what happens…
Jay
