Wireless is a part of electronics engineering which itself comes under electrical engineering. But electronics has developed into many fields and wireless is in almost all electronics from your remote TV to missiles and rockets, car alarms, mobile etc etc . So the basic is electronics. If you want to pursue wireless then you have to do digital communication, video compression, data transmission etc.

You need not go to US. In India itself very good colleges are available.

Use wireless scanners with a warehouse management system (Great Plains). Sorry for the lack of details, however this is not a trivial task.

Normally Network engineers/administrators deal with wireless tech in the IT field.

I've heard of people calling themselves Wifi engineers in IT, but that's just a title they give themselves.

In more specialised fields like broadcasting, mobile telecoms etc, there are dedicated RF engineers. But they deal with a wider array of wireless technologies than wifi.

If you want a career specialising in wireless, you need to have a good IT background and practical experience in networking. The wireless bit is not too much to learn, in general applications.

The LNB need a power supply which is in the receiver so 2 wire must go to LNB.Signal and power supply for the LNB go on the same coaxial cable so you can't use a wireless device between the receiver and LNB!!!!

Wireless technology has been installed in many State Parks and National Parks, and is now being made available in many cities, free. It is also fund in airports worldwide.

I was visiting at Huntington state beach on vacation, and my husband had to sign in to his company website to help his co-workers.

The Wireless technology section on the developerWorks Web site is your resource for information on building wireless applications for e-business, …

This page contains an overview of existing wireless technologies
